Supper Club is the fun part of the Mustard Seed business. It’s our opportunity to welcome you to our home and share our passion for great food. Think of it as your friendly neighbourhood brasserie, where you never know quite what you’re going to eat, but you know it’s going to be good!
We’re not trying to imitate a “fine dining” establishment, so you won’t find obscure ingredients and scientific experiments on your plate. But you will find great home grown or locally produced, seasonal ingredients, cooked in a simple, classic style and presented with love. We choose a theme and then research that theme so that whatever we’re serving is as authentic as possible. We like to expand your eating horizons but only in a totally delicious way. And we can cater for specific dietary requirements as long as you tell us on booking.
The atmosphere at Supper Club is something that no ordinary restaurant can imitate. You’ll be seated at long tables with up to 19 other diners, and so it’s a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. People come on their own or in couples or groups, and all are welcome. We work hard to give you personal and friendly service, often joining diners at the end of the evening for a glass of wine and a chat.
Most Supper Club events are BYO, although we do occasionally get a temporary license. There is a maximum of 20 places available and they can get booked up very quickly so don’t leave it until the last minute. We ask for a deposit and your dietary requirements to confirm your booking.
